It was good while it lasted.
Small Factory was an adorable Sub-Pop band. In college, my roommates/bandmates and I loved them and strived to sound like them, and now they are long gone and it seems that almost no one remembers them, which is too bad. You should not be one of those people who has never hear of them of heard their music, so here - this is my favorite Small Factory song.

They remind me of a group called Universal Honey.

Oh wow. I feel old. Remember them well; that and the musty Kim’s on Bleecker near University where I saw their singles on sale. But was never really a fan. But do remember Phoebe Summersquash saying the following in some interview after going to some festival that had the word “Twee” in the title: “Twee? What is twee? Why are we twee?”

Yay, somebody else in the world has actually heard of Small Factory! Great band, it’s a shame they’re still so unknown.

And if you hurt me
I’ll be angry
And I’ll smash up that fucking car

I don’t think I’ve heard this before, but it feels like a cool breeze blowing in from 1992, when I was 22 and the world felt like it was heading in the right direction… I can’t decide whether this ultimately makes me happy or sad, but it’s nice anyways.
