Pryde (in the Name of Love)

Finally the animation project I worked on with Marvel has been put online! Now I can prove to all the nerds I’ve been seducing that “I’m the voice of Kitty Pryde (online)” isn’t just a sleazy line. It’s a TRUE sleazy line!

If you’d like to hear me as Kitty Pryde (and a few other characters), you can watch it here.

Ok… gotta ask…. What the hell have I missed over the years???

Wait… that’s right… I’ve been little more than a passive X-Men fan most of my life…. (My highest level of interest came around the time the ill-fated FOX Kids animated cartoon came about. In my own defense, I DID try to school myself on as much X-Men knowledge as I could…. but I DID fail miserably…….)

My only recent X-Men experience has come from my rare trips to the local cinematic repository…. so I’m a little (massive understatement!!!) lost on the current events. Anyone willing to fill me in is more than welcome to give as much of a synopsis as they like, because I can use all the backstory I can get….

    Ok… that aside… I can’t say I was too impressed with Marvel.com… The short seemed… kinda lacking..

Don’t take this as fawning praise, pretty please ( I like to handle all of my “Kiss-ass sycophant” duties in person, and since I doubt you’ll be coming to “The City Formally Known As ‘Motor-City’ any time soon, It’ll have to wait.) But, I do have to say, the only dialouge I thought was good enough for characters I’ve come to known sorta well, was Kitty (You).

Logan seemed way too passive, and many exchanges between characters seemed like they’d been re-written to appeal to people who know even less than me about the characters portrayed, rather than to stay true to the spirit they once had…

Either that, or I need to put down the beer and go to bed…

None the less, (Against my policy of “Non-Cyber-Fanishness”) I gotta give you “Mad Props”. Hell of a job voicing, so much so, that you seemed like the only skilled actor in the whole bunch…

Love all you do, and Voltron-willing, maybe someday, I’ll get to see one off your shows.

    Sincerely,
    Kenny, G.

Hot! And how cool that you got to say “Professor Xavier is a jerk!”. Also wow, Kenny G. is a fan!

Geez. It’s all new to me. I don’t remember any of these people from my waaaaay long time ago Marvel days.
Nice voice. Glad you’re not part of the axis of evil.

Besides Kitty, the child and the Indian lady were there any other voices I missed?
You carried the dry, laconic roles well. Enjoyed the Marvel roles but when can I expect to see you in Beano and Dandy?
    Well done.
