Ahh,yes, I remember my first I Eat Pandas show. It was the summer of '84, and I was barely 8-years-old. My parents had taken me into the city to go see the circus (which ended up just being a Toto concert). Afterwards, with tears of disappointment still drying on my face, my mother said, "Sweetheart, after ice cream, would you like to see an improv comedy musical?" My eyes lit up as I exclaimed, "Fuck, yes!". Soon we were sitting in the front row, basking in I Eat Panda's angelic glory. I'll never forget my father's grin as you pulled him from the audience in the middle of the show and made him strip completely naked. Then you two ladies improvised a hilarious song about Smurfs and Rubik's Cubes and other mid-'80s pop-culture references too numerous to mention. At the end of the show, while you were cleaning up all the vomit, you looked up at me and gave me a knowing wink. In return, I gave you the finger, which was the custom back then. An experience I'll never forget!
