YAT 26
Year of Awesome Things - in which I do at least one awesome thing every week.
Seafarer - My friend, Silvija, took me to see The Seafarer on Broadway. It’s great to see a play with a lot of talent and effort put into it. David Morse totally worth the ticket price - it amazes me that a guy that phenomenal on stage is relegated to evil character parts on film. I suppose that’s the difference between stage and screen - you can’t fill up a room through a camera.
Big Poppa - Glennis and her friend, William, put together an abstracted hip-hop version of the Greek story of Plutus, which I got to perform in. Although I was sick as a dog by the second performace, it was still cool to be a part of a theatrical production. Mostly because of the presents. No one gives gifts at comedy shows, but theater people pass them out at the drop of a hat. Classy folks, those theater people. Needy and histrionic, but classy.
Pins and Needles - I got acupuncture for the first time on Monday. I liked it! It helped clear my head up, and my stomach, AND my knee (I am falling apart, people.) Thumbs up, traditional chinese medicine!

Glad you’ve joined the acupuncture groupies. I love my acupuncturist… also my chiropractor… AND my massage therapist. Although I may be falling apart, I’m tricking my body into thinking I’m in great shape. Now we have to lobby for government subsidies. Free acupuncture!
