10. The end of 16 Blocks on a flight back from California. Will stared at me, mystified, as I mumbled something about how “Mos Def really loves Bruce Willis.”
9. This clip of Jennifer Holiday on the Tonys. Its mostly embarrassing because 1)it’s hosted by Tony Randall, and 2) if the Tony Awards make you cry you better be an aspiring 13-year-old jazz dancer or his “girlfriend.” I am neither.
8. Losing my place in line at the grocery store. Whatever, it was a rough day.
7. Will Smith being interviewed about “The Pursuit of Happyness” during The 2wenty before Borat. Again, Will (the boyfriend) and his brother came back to our seats with popcorn and I mumbled something about “Will Smith really loves his son.”
6.The commentary track of Terms Of Endearment, immediately after crying at the same movie played without commentary.
5. The 10th time I watched at this clip of the autistic kid winning the basketball game. 1-9 were acceptable, but by the tenth one I should have found something else to do. Also I was at a public computer, and I was pretty loud about it.
4. The sight of that dude in the West Village who walks around with the Parrot on his arm feeding it a nut or something. I don’t know. It seemed like That Guy really loved That Parrot.

Additional note: A lot of folks seem to be skimming past the “Most Embarrassing” part of the title. These are things that it is gross to have cried at, not things I’m suggesting are really touching. So, Claymates, stop posting about me on your messageboard. Your boyfriend is gay.

I believe I cried during nearly every episode of the last season of Buffy AND have already cried a couple of times watching the new Battlestar Galactica. Clearly a sign of getting old.

i cried at greys anatomy when meredith almost died after being in that freezing water…and when my computer stopped working..
