I know, you’re looking for hard-hitting content. Well, humor me - I’m giving you a plug instead.
Please come check out my musical improv group, I Eat Pandas, at UNDER St. Marks (94 St. Marks Place, btwn 1st and A) on Monday at 8pm. We’re doing a run of Monday night shows there, so really any old Monday night in the next month or so would work - but you should really come this week if you can. Why?
1)Will Hines is our opening act. Now, many of you know Will and how funny and great he is, but perhaps you have not seen him do stand up. Well, he is totally awesome good at it - really really funny. I say this because I am a “comedy insider” who “knows the biz”, not because he is my boyfriend and frequently makes me giggle by tickling. So come for that, either for the curiousity or pure enjoyment.
2)Our show is really good. You know how a lot of times you’ll do something, and hope or kind of think it’s good, but you wouldn’t swear on your life that it’s the best thing ever? I swear on my life, this is a good show. It’s what each of us (me, Glennis, and Travis) are best at, and it’s not so long your butt gets sweaty. Don’t you deserve something really great this Monday?
3)I am in love with you. It has been tearing me up for weeks, but I am too shy to tell you anywhere but at UNDER St. Marks this Monday at 8pm. Let’s hurry up and get on with the rest of our lives, why don’t we?
