Loved this post! I love Lili Taylor and spent two years defending her “Six Feet Under” character Lisa Kimmel to anyone who would listen. Wasn’t Lauren Ambrose at your gig also? I’ll be at Jill’s extravaganza here in L.A. next Monday with another bevy of brilliant actresses.

Molly Shannon came and did a Talk Show at the old UCBT back in the day. As the man backstage coordinating things, and given that her appearance was secret, I wound up keeping her out of sight from a lot of people, so I wound up spending about a 1/2 hour with her. She is a delight and then some. So energetic and human and approachable. She gave me a huge hug when the show was over.

Now that I’m a schoolteacher in Albany, I find that it’s little things like that which justify spending almost three years improvising and drinking at McM.
