Holy Shit I am Crazy.
I am currently rehearsing 2 musicals for the New York Musical Festival at the end of the month. One is a “choose your own adventure” musical, so essentially I have to learn about 4 different scripts. I also have a big show coming up for my band, and a number of improv shows this month with more than the usual amount of pressure attached to them (a few for that same festival, even.) Also, my day job is exceptionally busy, I am coaching 2 improv groups, directing a one-woman show, and I have a boyfriend. The end result is that I am losing my mind, and really crappy at everything I try to do.
I mean, it’s really remarkable. I guess my brain is at capacity, and it’s getting weird.
Some of my more bizarre brain malfunctions this week incude: getting out of the shower with hair condtioner AND shaving gel still on, putting a sandwich INTO my coffee, and brushing my hair with a toothbrush WITH toothpaste on it.
So that’s where I’m coming from.
